Bengt Holst, the so-called Scientific Director at Copenhagen Zoo, should not in our opinion be in charge of a zoo and we the undersigned believe he should stand down or be removed from this post.
Three zoos, one in the UK, one in Sweden and one in The Netherlands, offered to take Marius the giraffe, a healthy, 18 month baby.

The world is outraged.
Holst said Marius needed to be killed to protect the gene pool -- he was offered many homes which would have done this.
We call on Copenhagen Zoo to relieve him of his post - to not do so would cause outrage and most likely a permanent boycott of your establishment.
